Ocarina Workshop

Terms of Use

Effective September 14, 2026

1. Agreement and operator

These Terms govern your use of Ocarina Workshop, operated by Mitchell Magat in Michigan, United States. By accepting these Terms or using the service, you agree to them. You must be at least 18 years old.

2. The service

Ocarina Workshop uses automated systems and artificial intelligence to analyze MIDI files and create ocarina arrangements. Results may contain musical, technical, or factual errors. You are responsible for reviewing results before relying on them.

3. Your music and authorization

You may submit material only when you own the necessary rights, the material is public domain in your jurisdiction, or you have permission that covers uploading it and creating the requested arrangement. You must also have the right to use the particular MIDI file, transcription, edition, or arrangement you upload.

Private or noncommercial use does not automatically give you permission to arrange copyrighted music. Purchasing credits or receiving an output does not transfer or grant rights in an underlying composition, recording, edition, arrangement, or MIDI file.

4. Permission to process your content

You retain whatever rights you hold in material you submit. You give Ocarina Workshop a limited, nonexclusive license to host, copy, analyze, transform, and transmit that material only as needed to provide, secure, troubleshoot, and operate the service. You represent that you have authority to grant this permission.

5. Use of results

You are responsible for ensuring that your practice, performance, sharing, publication, distribution, synchronization, sale, or other use of a result is authorized. Ocarina Workshop does not provide copyright clearance or legal advice and does not guarantee that an output is noninfringing.

6. Prohibited use

  • Do not submit or use material in violation of copyright, privacy, publicity, contract, or other rights.
  • Do not misuse, disrupt, probe, scrape, or reverse engineer the service.
  • Do not use the service for unlawful, deceptive, or abusive activity.

7. Credits, charges, and refunds

Credit prices and operation costs are shown before purchase or submission. A new arrangement reserves 100 credits. An accepted revision costs 30 credits. Failed operations are handled as described in the product interface. Requests for money back are reviewed and are not automatic. Except where law requires otherwise, purchased and used credits are not refundable merely because you dislike a subjective musical choice.

8. Copyright complaints and accounts

We may restrict access to disputed material, request evidence of authorization, suspend repeat infringers, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Copyright complaints may be submitted as described in the Copyright Policy.

9. Availability and disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, or uninterrupted availability, to the extent permitted by law.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Mitchell Magat will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or opportunities arising from the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

11. Changes and termination

Material changes may require acceptance of a new Terms version. You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations, legal risk, security risk, or service discontinuation.

12. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of Michigan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise. Questions may be sent to mitchellmagat@gmail.com.
